Here the countertop is almost done. The discoloration in the wall is just the plaster drying, the darker areas are where the plaster was thicker. It takes 3 or 4 weeks for the stuff to dry all the way.

Are you not going to paint the walls or put up tiles?
Yes, paint and tiles are on the way, once the other parts of the house are finished. Function must come before form.
